Jackson

To "add insult to Robert's injury", we realised that by driving just a short way, we could enter
Idaho and notch up one more state thus increasing my number of visited states to one that
Robert's record didn't come close to!

Our next destination was the Grand Teton National Park ...
One of the most beautiful places we stopped at.

Swan Lake Flats

Signal Mountain Overlook

Jenny Lake

Jackson Lake

And the Grand Tetons ...

Tearing ourselves away from the haunting beauty of the blue-steel mountains, we headed into Jackson where we walked around the beautiful town.  This is also where I did a bit of shopping ... Or as a local aptly called it ... Left some money with the town folk!!

Every entrance to the town's square has an arch made of elk antlers

The local "tour bus"

Up close and personal with a friendly local

The $Million Dollar$ Cowboy Bar was most interesting.  The bar counter has 582 silver dollars imbedded in it. Note the interesting bar stools!

That evening, we went to the famous Bar J Wrangler Chuckwagon Dinner & Show
