Breeders attending her
seminar |
That evening, the Ragdoll
breeders attended a BBQ at the home of JaNeil & John
Cillessen
and not only was the food out of this world,
but I also
got to meet more of my Internet
breeder friends.

Friday morning saw us all up
early and ready for the RFCI meeting and a Genetics Seminar.
Taking it easy that afternoon, I added the porcupine quills to
the beautiful rosettes that
South African rosette master, Dill
Leask, made for the Ragdoll Congress.

handed to my favourite cats at the

Friday evening the
Ragdoll breeders had a lively, interesting and very informative
discus-
sion on the Ragdoll breed and received wonderful input from
some TICA judges. It seemed
the end of the evening was not yet in
sight as everybody started putting up their show cages
and getting the
raffle tables organised thereafter.

|
I got spoiled even more ...
My friends gave me
this beautiful
fleece blanket, with my name and cattery details,
as well as a beautiful Ragdoll embroidered on it!
When I
downloaded emails early on a Winter's morning, I would
often complain how cold
my hands and legs
were!
Thank you girls ... I will be thinking of you this Winter
when I sit warm and snug in front of my
computer!

Saturday evening
our group went off to a Mexican restaurant in Denver.
What
an interesting place!
It can seat 1100 people and
has a variety of live shows - all at the same
time!!
We had loads of fun!
Below is the Magician's
act

And I received this
beautiful trophy for having traveled the farthest to the
Congress!

JaNeil : "Hey Laura, why
is your trophy bigger than mine?"
Laura : "Don't you know that
everything is bigger and better in
Texas?" |
Sunday was a sad day as I would
be saying Goodbye to Linda & Dick and Nancy.
Thank You
Linda for your hospitality; Thank You Dick for getting us to
our destinations safely
as well as for downloading endless
pictures every night, even though you must have been dead
tired
too; and Thank You Nancy and Chris for being
my roommates!
